There are so many polarities we may experience in our lifetimes - poor to rich, life to death, confused to inspired, depressed to joyful - all of these polarities can really throw us off balance. The first part of this meditation allows us to flow effortlessly with our breath, keeping us locked into the natural rhythm of life. Meditating on nostril breathing allows us to remain steady rather than fluctuating between polarities. We will still feel the turbulence, but we can remain calm in the midst of the storm. Following the breath and attuning to the mantra allows us to be present, open, hopeful and intuitive.
